Siddhesh Patil, PhD
Vice President, CMC
Dr. Siddhesh Patil combines expertise in chemistry, manufacturing and controls (CMC) and supply chain development with a laser focus on inspiring the next generation of biotech leaders.
With more than 20 years’ experience leading CMC from early to late-stage development and commercialization for biologics, ADCs, small molecules, novel modalities and devices, Siddhesh joins Pheon Therapeutics as Vice President of CMC.
Prior to Pheon, Siddhesh oversaw CMC strategy, portfolio development and technical operations at Johnson & Johnson, Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Takeda, Millenium Pharmaceuticals, and Amylin Pharmaceuticals.
His deep understanding of process development, dosage form design and manufacturing have resulted in numerous patient-centric clinical formulations and commercial products.
Under his leadership, Siddhesh’s teams have established complex supply chain operations and advanced cost-effective product and process development strategies for biotherapeutics and small molecules. This has resulted in breakthrough products for rare diseases and prevalent indications including oncology, immunology, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, and neurology.
Siddhesh earned his Ph.D. in nanoparticle development and protein stabilization and a post-doctoral fellowship in sustained-release parenterals at the University of Connecticut.
