Lawrence Cripe
Executive Director, Business Development & Corp Strategy
Lawrence Saunders Cripe is the Executive Director of Business Development & Corporate Strategy at Pheon Therapeutics. He brings extensive experience in biotech business development, fundraising, and strategic growth. Before joining Pheon, Lawrence co-founded SLAP Pharmaceuticals, LLC, where he served as Head of Business Development. He co-invented SLAP-120, a PARP1-selective inhibitor with exceptional brain penetration, and led all business development efforts through the successful out-licensing of the program. Prior to SLAP, Lawrence led business development at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals for several years including leading their Series C fundraising efforts. He previously worked as a Vice President at Matrix Capital Management, focusing on biotech and software investments. He began his career as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company in Chicago.
Lawrence holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College.
